Did Canada over or underestimate their opponent?

Canada's Women's Rugby 7's team is quite reasonably the best in their region. Consistnlyant placing in the top 3 for 5 seasons straight and placing 2nd in the 2014-2015 season and again in the recent 2018-2019 season.

Thus, leading to a 70.81% Win Advantage and a great record, we can comfortably say Canada's National Team is one of the better team in America.

However, Canada has still yet to win a season as the game is mostly dominated by Austrailia and occassionally New Zealand. Obviously, more attention should be put towards games against Austrailia and New Zealand opposed to Japan, who Canada has a winning track record against.
